Powertrain
The standard engine is a 3.6-litre Pentastar V-6 eTorque rated at 234 kW (305 hp) and 365 N·m (271 lb-ft). This engine includes a 48-volt hybrid system featuring a 9-kW belt-starter generator that contributes 122 N·m (90 lb-ft) of launch torque. The system relies on a compact 430-watt-hour lithium-ion battery positioned behind the rear seat. Fuel consumption rates at 11.7 L/100 km city, 9.4 L/100 km highway, and 10.7 L/100 km combined for rear-wheel-drive applications.
The 3.0-litre Straight-Six Turbo puts out 313 kW (420 hp) and 635 N·m (469 lb-ft), delivering the strongest standard torque in the lineup. This twin-turbocharged inline-six employs direct injection with a high-pressure pump supplying up to 5,075 psi to a single fuel rail. It requires premium 91-octane fuel and achieves 13.1 L/100 km city, 9.4 L/100 km highway on rear-wheel-drive configurations. The High Output version generates 403 kW (540 hp) and 707 N·m (521 lb-ft), available exclusively on Longhorn, Limited, RHO, and Tungsten trims.
The 5.7-litre HEMI V-8 eTorque produces 291 kW (395 hp) and 556 N·m (410 lb-ft). This engine uses a 12-kW belt-starter generator that provides 176 N·m (130 lb-ft) of supplemental torque during acceleration. Variable cam timing and cylinder deactivation help optimize fuel consumption. The V-8 pairs with a 125-litre fuel tank and a performance-tuned exhaust system. It's offered across most trims from Tradesman through Limited, with delayed availability on Rebel models.
All engines work with an eight-speed automatic transmission. The TorqueFlite 850RE matches with the V-6, while the 8HP75 serves the turbocharged six-cylinder and V-8 engines. Axle ratio options include 3.21, 3.55, and 3.92, with higher numerical ratios improving towing performance while affecting highway fuel economy.
